Morning Brew – Ellen Page and Samira Wiley cover “Out”

Good morning! Happy Veteran’s Day to any of you who have served.

In the new film Three Generations, Elle Fanning plays a trans teen (FTM) and Susan Sarandon plays “a music manager who shares a brownstone with her lesbian partner.” Naomi Watts is Susan’s daughter and Elle’s mother, thus the “three generations.” That’s a stellar cast with a queer premise. I’m in!

This year’s Out 100 has a lot more women we love than usual. Two of the cover stars are Ellen Page and Samira Wiley in beautiful black and white.

I’ll definitely be picking up a copy with one of their faces on it.

Colin Farrell has a gay brother and supports equality. I love that. He also rocks a man bun.

Simpsorama (a Simpsons/Futurama crossover) reveals that aliens Kang and Kodos are a lesbian couple. (Their full names: Kang and Kodos Johnson.) What a cute couple!

The band Kicking Harold has a “lesbian twist” in their new “Kill You” video. See if you can stick around until the end for it.

The Glamour Women of the Year red carpet was hot last night in NYC.
