Afternoon Delight: Aubrey Plaza has a crush on Amy Poehler

True Blood‘s Kristin Bauer Van Straten got all choked up talking about the possibility of Alexander Skarsgard leaving the cast.

Aubrey Plaza graces the cover of Cosmopolitan for Latinas. Plaza also recently told the Rolling Stone that she has a “girl crush” on Parks & Rec co-star Amy Poehler. (Um, who doesn’t?) Plaza said, “She’s already kind of my girlfriend, and I’m not saying that in a jokey way. We had a moment last year, late at night, when we decided we were gonna end up together. For now, we have to let boys come and go, but we’re kind of in love.” I approve this union!

Speaking of Parks & Rec, Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe are walking away from Poehler’s hit comedy series. Jones and Lowe will make their exits on the season’s thirteenth episode

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts have announced the release of their first new album in nearly a decade. Unvarnished will be released on Oct. 1, 2014 and the first single from the album, “Any Weather,” will be available Aug. 6 via iTunes preorder.

Actress Nia Vardalos has been cast in the coming-of-age comedy Helicopter Mom. The story follows a “high school student whose mother outs him to the entire school, sets him up on dates and signs him up for a college scholarship for gay kids.” P.S. The kid in the series isn’t sure if he really is gay. Yikes!
