We open up to Black Mask and Enigma in Black Mask’s office, and someone sitting in a chair in front of Enigma. Come to find out that it’s Kate Kane sitting there, and Enigma wipes her memory completely… and gives her the memory of Black Mask’s dead daughter instead. Yikes.

Cut to Alice and Ocean in bed together after their reunion the night prior. Alice attempts to sneak out, but some members of the FFS (False Face Society) come and knock her out, kidnapping Ocean.

Meanwhile, back at the Crows HQ, Sophie is looking up Ryan’s profile in the arrest database. Since, you know, Sophie now knows Ryan is Batwoman. Sophie then asks another Crow if Batwoman’s DNA has been uploaded yet, and for now it hasn’t. She goes to Kane’s office to talk with him about it, and his dismisses her in anger and kicks her out of his office.

Jump to the Batcave; Luke, Mary, and Ryan are still trying to find where FFS has Angelique. However, before Ryan can go find her, the Bat signal goes off. Turns out the Bat signal was Sophie, coming to warn Batwoman/Ryan about the DNA sample. Luke and Mary ask Ryan to come home to where she can stay safe, but she refuses and goes to look for Ang at a local FFS hangout.

Once Ryan gets to the FFS spot, she discovers Alice has beaten her there. They decide to work together, because Alice knows where the FFS has Ang and Ocean; she says that the FFS has them there to learn how to make Snake Bite, and then kill them. Ryan takes Alice there in the Batmobile, and Alice realizes that Ryan is in love with Ang.

All the while, Sophie keeps checking the DNA upload updates. More on that later…

Ang and Ocean are being forced to cook Snake Bite on film. Think of it like a how-to video for the FFS to watch later. While this is happening, Ryan and Alice are outside taking out some FFS members, trying to make their way in.

Now we’re back at Crow HQ, where Mary brings Sophie a gift. Inside it is a kill drive that Sophie can use to wipe Batwoman’s DNA profile right when it’s uploaded. Mary goes to talk to Kane, that way she can lead him out of the office and Sophie can go in to hack into his computer.

Alice and Ryan are kicking some FFS a**, and once that’s done, Ryan uses one of their walkie-talkies to tip off the other members that they are there. This creates a distraction for them to sneak in to rescue Ang and Ocean. However, Ryan tells Alice the truth about her and Ang, locks Alice to a pole, and takes off to save them alone. Ryan used Alice to get there, but isn’t planning on helping her, since Alice did kill her mother after all…

Ang and Ocean finish filming, and Ryan gets in shortly after, but hasn’t found them quite yet.

Meanwhile, Sophie realizes she can’t delete Batwoman’s DNA profile without deleting every profile in the Crow’s database. This would delete files on rapists, murderers, etc. While this is going down, Mary shows Kane her new update clinic. She worked to make things more legal, where she would be on the paperwork side of things. Kane gives her approval, even after realizing her fax machine isn’t plugged in and never will be (which is needed for her to alert the authorities when someone comes to the clinic that’s broken the law.) Compromise, though, right Kane?

Alice is still chained to the pole, and that’s when she is confronted by none other than the new and improved Kate Kane… the one that’s no longer Kate, but a FFS version of Black Mask’s Daughter. However, it’s still Alice’s sister’s body, she just doesn’t know it. FFS Kate asks Alice where Batwoman is, and Alice tells her.

The FFS member with Ocean and Ang ends up shooting Ocean, but Ryan finds them right away. Ryan drops the Snake Bite Ocean and Ang just made, shattering it on the ground. Ryan lets Ang and Ocean go, but shortly after FFS Kate shows up. They battle, for what feels like ages, until Alice shows up to save Ryan. However, when FFS Kate gets Alice, Ryan does not return the favor and leaves Alice there. The irony is, though, that neither of them know they are fighting Kate Kane.

Back at Crow HQ, Sophie deletes her history off Kane’s computer. As she is putting it up, she finds the used Snake Bite in Kane’s office trash can. Sophie goes to Mary and asks her to confront her dad about his Snake Bite usage, but Mary is in denial, saying it can’t be his.

Cut to Ryan opening her apartment door, only to finally be reunited with Ang. Ang tells Ryan that she cut a deal with the feds and is going into witness protection; she asks Ryan to go with her, but Ryan says that she can’t leave Gotham. So, what does that mean for them? They say goodbye.

As the episode comes to a close, we check in with Alice one last time. She has been kidnapped by FFS, and they plan to kill her, but Black Mask says to throw her in jail for the night because he thinks he’ll have a use for her.

Fade out.
