Morning Brew – Ellen stops by Howard Stern

Good morning!

Ellen DeGeneres was on Howard Stern yesterday, where she talked about having Caitlyn Jenner on her Season 13 premiere.

And then, they talked dancing.

The New York Times writes about Ellen’s upcoming interview with Hillary Clinton.

Jenna Jameson reminisced about her lesbian porn with Briana Banks while on Celebrity Big Brother this week. So if you are into “real” lesbian sex, perhaps her actually liking it is enough for you.

A same-sex love story is at the center of a new Bollywood film 141. India.com reports:

141 shows the romance of a foreign girl with a south Indian one. The movie stars Tanya, a Russian actress, opposite Kavya. Yahoo reports that the latest to try and break the mould is Kannada movie 141, which was shot secretly because of threats. The movie has had no support from anybody in the film industry, or even the Regional Censor Board. While the Board has cleared the movie after one-and-a-half-years of waiting, they have asked Bhavaji to refrain from excessive publicity.

Out Aussie actress Magda Szubanksi chatted with The Telegraph about her career and coming out.

“I always felt that the decision primarily for me was between the mainstream and my sexuality, and I found that really difficult,” she said. “But certainly when I was coming up through the ranks, if I had been openly lesbian, it would have been an absolute career wrecker. … I don’t know whether I regret that in some ways, whether I should have come out earlier, whether my mainstream success was at the cost of my personal life. It’s hard to argue that, but there are some sacrifices that you make that you aren’t even aware that you’re making sometimes or ways that you curtail yourself or things that you lose along the way.”

Carmilla‘s new FanExpo trailer has hit the net.

Out actress Emily Rios has a huge new gig in USA’s TV adaptation of the Mark Wahlberg film Shooter. The former Bridge star will play “Nadine Memphis, an ambitious young FBI agent who unravels a conspiracy with Swagger (Ryan Phillipe) at the center that puts a target on her back and forces her to form an uneasy alliance with him.”

If you’re a fan of Tello Films, you might be interested in their new Indie-go-campaign, which has some cool prizes from series stars.

Billie Jean King will appear on HuffPost Live today at 11:30am PT.
