Finally, happy National Doughnut Day! Krispy Kreme is offering a free doughnut to anyone visits one of their stores and Dunkin Donuts is offering a free donut with the purchase of a drink. Yum!
For all of you Kristen Stewart fans, be sure to tune in this Sunday’s (June 5) 2011 MTV Movie Awards for an exclusive look at the new Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn. Until then, you can watch the teaser trailer below.
Also during the awards show, actress Reese Witherspoon will be honored with the Generation Award. MTV President Stephen Friedman stated that Witherspoon is receiving the award for being “one of the most versatile and accomplished performers of her time.”
My favorite Witherspoon performance is in Freeway, specifically the scene in which Witherspoon makes out with the late Brittany Murphy in juvy. (Although, their frisky scene was interrupted, as seen in the below picture.)
And if you don’t care about Twilight or Witherspoon and you need another reason to watch the MTV Movie Awards then you should tune in to see Black Swan actress Mila Kunis strutting her stuff on the red carpet and presenting at the show.
For all you Robyn lovers out there check out her new music video for “Call your Girlfriend.” Although, I don’t recommend that any of you call your girlfriend and break up with her over the phone because you’re in love with Robyn. That’s just cruel. P.S. Is it just me or does Robyn look like the long-lost member of Dance Magic?
House‘s Olivia Wilde has signed on to star in The Words alongside Bradley Cooper (The Hangover) and Zoe Saldana (Avatar.) Wilde will be re-teaming with the Tron Legacy screenwriters Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal who will be co-directing the film.
Rolling Stone is examining Lady Gaga‘s “Fashion Evolution” with an overview of 16 of Gaga’s daring looks. I personally enjoyed the red getup she wore when she met the Queen.
In case you need a reminder, The Real L Word Season 2 premieres this Sunday, June 5 at 10 pm on Showtime. And if you can’t wait to see the new cast of ladies in their underwear (and I use the term “ladies” loosely) then pick up the newest issue of Curve magazine. (I can’t stop staring at Claire’s crotch so please excuse me while I go rinse my eyes out with hot water.)
Ok, I’m all rinsed and ready to go! Amber Heard‘s Drive Angry is out on DVD/Blu-Ray. Drive Angry‘s director Patrick Lussier told MTV News that there might be a sequel in the works. Will it be called Drive Angrier?
LUSSIER: It could happen, depending on how well the DVD and the Blu-Ray do. We’ve certainly got a story in mind that would be fun.
MTV NEWS: Can you tease that to me at all?
LUSSIER: Can we tease it? Nobody lives in the next one.
MTV NEWS: Not even Amber Heard? Not even the baby?
FARMER: No, no no no, we’re going to be ruthless in the next one.

New Zealand’s yodeling lesbian twins, The Topps Twins, have come to America! The award winning documentary feature film, The Topp Twins: Untouchable Girls, was released in April 2009 and is finally making its way around the United States. Today the film is being shown at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco, CA as well as the White River Indie Film Festival in White River Junction, VT.
