Afternoon Delight: Emma Watson on the cover of “Elle UK,” Megan Fox heads to Broadway

Albert Nobbs star Glenn Close will be honored at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. Close, who also produced and co-wrote Albert Nobbs, will be given the Career Achievement Award at the awards gala on Saturday, January 7, 2012.

SNL alums Maya Rudolph and Molly Shannon will reunite again on NBC’s Up All Night. Shannon will appear in a November episode and play an “incompetent associate producer” on Rudolph’s character’s talk show Ava.

Tonight, the Indigo Girls take their musical talents to the Allentown Symphony Hall in Allentown, PA. The show starts at 7:30 pm.

Siren Megan Fox is heading to Broadway! At this year’s “24 Hour Plays on Broadway,” Fox will team up with Julia Stiles, Rachel Dratch, Sarah Silverman, Amber Tamblyn, Carla Gugino and Gabourey Sidibe for the annual event. Starting on November 13 at 10 pm, writers, directors and actors have literally 24 hours to write, produce and perform a play on Broadway. On the following day at 8 pm, the plays will be performed at the American Airlines Theater in New York.

Olivia Wilde has walked away from the Linda Lovelace‘s biopic Lovelace. At last night’s Glamour Reel Moments, Wilde made her directorial debut with her short film Free Hugs and confirmed that she won’t be portraying the Deep Throat star on the big screen.
