Morning Brew – Tuesday, Feb. 7: Snooki considers herself bisexual, Chamique Holdsclaw stars in a new lesbian reality show

Happy Tuesday! Did you guys watch Smash last night?

Snooki loves to kiss girls when she’s drunk, but she told The Huffington Post that she actually considers herself bisexual. Specifically:

I would consider myself bi. I’ve done stuff with girls before. But I would never be with a girl because I like… penis. But I’ve experimented.

It gets worse when she and J-Woww are asked if they are feminists. I can’t even.

Alison Goldfrapp talked to Interview about her duo’s new Singles album, which comes out today. She also explained why their music video, as directed by her GF Lisa Gunning, was shot using an iPhone.

If you love Barbara Hammer like I do, you’ll enjoy this piece from Electric Sheep Magazine. The artist/filmmaker told the mag:

Sex with a woman changed my life. Making love with a woman directly influenced my filmmaking. My cinema followed with a desire to make the audience feel their bodies as they watched my films.

Babs is one of those lesbian filmmakers who doesn’t care if you call her one. She loves it.

Check out Ladyhawke’s new video for “Black White & Blue.” I’m loving her Hepburn-esque outfit.

Shh, Heather Peace is talking about kissing girls!

Amy Ray explains the genesis of her new album Lung of Love in this promo video.

Naya Rivera and Ricky Martin duet on “La Isla Bonita” on tonight’s Glee episode. Listen to it now if you just can’t stand to wait.

Rachel Maddow has won the John Steinbeck Award. MediaBistro notes she’s the third woman to win the prestigious award, and the first person under 40. Congrats Rachel!

Jessica Clark and some fellow models have created The Model Alliance for fair labor conditions and respectful and professional work environments in their industry. Check out this video to see what they are all about and then visit their website for more information.

WNBA baller Chamique Holdsclaw is one of the cast members of a new lesbian reality show called The Other Women of America. It follows a group of women who live in Atlanta (for now — apparently other cities will soon follow).

Let me know if you live in Atlanta in the comments!
