What’d you do this weekend? I had my copy of Drift signed by Rachel Maddow when she came to Portland for a reading/signing. It’s confirmed: She’s not running for public office ever and, also, she’s dreamy. Speaking of, she’s #26 on The Hollywood Reporter‘s 35 Most Powerful People in Media.
If you were in New York and caught this Hole reunion, I wish to live vicariously through you. Courtney Love joined former bandmates Patty Schemel, Melissa Auf de Mar and Eric Erlandson for “Miss World.” Bonus: There’s a joke about Patty and a guitar strap that isn’t “on.”
Some of the Jersey Shore women just won’t stop kissing their friends for fun. Deena posted her latest exploit on Twitter. I wonder if Snooki is over it now that she’s pregnant.

Anna Skellern told The Scottish Sun she was nervous about joining Lip Service because all the women from Season 1 already knew each other so well.
It’s quite intimidating joining a group of people who are so close and who have already worked together. I lost my phone on the train to Glasgow and was so tired because I couldn’t sleep the night before. Then, when I arrived, I was taken straight to the read-through and they were all there, looking so together. I had to go and stand in a toilet cubicle to calm myself down, especially because I’d watched the first series and thought, “Oh, they all look so lovely, I want to be their friend!”
I’m sure she fit in splendidly.
While we’re in the UK, let’s talk about singer Pixie Lott, who says she has mostly women fans who write “I love you Pixie!” on their boobs.
Most of the propositions I get are from girl fans. They go mad for me. They turn up at gigs and signings with banners and say, “Can you go on a date with me?” There’s loads of them. It was mad outside my hotel. Girls were throwing themselves in front of my car.
You guys, please be careful. You don’t want to die with sharpie on your boobs.
