Morning Brew – Thurs. Feb. 14: Jillian Michaels would not bang Rachel Maddow, a clip from the new lesbian sitcom “Heading Out”

Good morning and Happy Valentine’s Day!

Alisha Dixon was the first out lesbian to ever make it to Hollywood on American Idol, at least that we saw. Unfortunately she was axed last night, but she could still be brought back as a wildcard.

Jillian Michaels was on Watch What Happens Live last night and she would not bang Rachel Maddow, but the actress Melissa Rauch said she definitely would. Then Jillian said she hasn’t talked to Jackie Warner in years because they were “business partners.” Mhm!

The gifs from the upcoming Gossip music video for “Get a Job” look pretty hilarious and amazing. I can’t wait to see the final product.

Check out the new track from sisters CoCoRosie, which is “is an imagined conversation between an abandoned child and an outcast old woman.”

If you are a fan of Arrested Development, then you might enjoy this Lindsay Bluth Valentine.

Catherine Opie has a new show called In & Around L.A. on view at Woodbury University.

I’m so excited to say that season two of Bomb Girls is coming to the Reelz Channel for U.S. viewers on March 27. Who is watching with me?

Out writer Sarah Schulman was supposed to speak about her new book at New York’s LGBT Community Center but the center then cancelled the event because of the topic, which is about Israel/Palestine and “pinkwashing.” It’s an interesting topic and I’m sure a fascinating book.

What does out fashion designer Jil Sander see as a no-fail outfit? “A white shirt, dark jeans, and a tailored navy coat.” Classic. I like her fall interpretation of that, which seems to trade the jeans in for some leather pants.

Lesbian musician Jen Foster covered Depeche Mode‘s “Somebody,” which is the song I walked down the aisle to so basically it’s for me, but you can listen, too..

Amanda Palmer has a new video for “The Bed Song,” which you can watch at EW.

Sue Perkins‘ new sitcom Heading Out premieres in the UK on Feb. 26. Can you even wait? Here’s a clip to hold you over.
