Afternoon Delight: First looks at Tilda Swinton’s “Only Lovers Left Alive” and Rebel Wilson’s “Super Fun Night”

Good afternoon and happy hump day!

Happy birthday to Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Lainie Kazan and the one and only Lori Grant!

Yesterday I mentioned Tricia “Six” Helfer‘s new series Killer Women and now you can watch the show’s first trailer below! (It looks good, but it would be even better if Katee Sackhoff joined the cast.)

While I’m eating popcorn and watching HBO’s Behind the Candelabra, Liberace‘s real life boy toy Scott Thorson (author of the book that the movie is based on) will be watching from the big house. I didn’t know jails had premium channels.

Head over to NewNowNext for two sneak peeks at Tilda Swinton‘s new vampire movie Only Lovers Left Alive. Well I guess we know how the movie ends.

Scarlett “My Wife’s Dream Girl” Johansson is set to star in Jon Favreau‘s indie movie Chef. The film stars Favreau as “a chef who loses his restaurant job and opens a food truck. Johansson will play that restaurant’s manager and potential love interest.” Wait a minute! I’m calling bullshit on the whole “love interest” angle. How about instead Johansson plays Favreau’s kids’ babysitter who he pays really well and never sexually harasses because she’s way too young and out of his league?

Arrested Development‘s Tobias Fünke shared his audition reel with the world, and I thank him for that.

Ugh, yet another vender is turning down orders from gay clients. Pam Regentin, the owner of Fleur Cakes in Mt. Hood, OR, refused to make a wedding cake for a lesbian couple and now the shit it hitting the fan. When a news reporter asked Regentin, “Are you aware it’s illegal to discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation if you have a business that serves the public?” She responded, “I believe I have the liberty to live by my principle.”

The first trailer for Rebel Wilson’s new comedy Super Fun Night has arrived! Super Fun Night debuts this fall (Wednesdays at 9:30 pm) on ABC.

Speaking of upcoming ABC series, get ready for Back in the Game, about a former All-Star softball player turned little league coach. Watch the trailer below, which features a fantastic rendition of Lady Gaga‘s “Born this Way.”

HBO has ordered a “gay-themed” series starring Glee‘s Jonathan Groff. The untitled dramedy will follow “three friends in San Francisco exploring the fun and sometimes overwhelming options available to a new generation of gay men.” How about a lesbian spin-off for Naya “Santana” Rivera?

Diva magazine‘s June cover girl Emma Kennedy is apparently the “best-connected lesbian you’ve never heard of.” Kennedy is a writer and Celebrity Master chef.

Tonight gay super-ally Cyndi Lauper will stop by Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report.

On Thursday, Grey’s Anatomy’s Jessica Capshaw will sit down with the ladies of The View. Capshaw has some serious explaining to do!
