The Sophie Treadwell play is inspired by the “true story of Ruth Snyder, who was executed for teaming up with her lover to kill her husband.” The play will open on January 16, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre.

Animal Planet is celebrating the massive ratings it received on its show Mermaids: The New Evidence. 3.6 million viewers, setting a record for the network, watched the telecast. If there were mermaids in the world, Finding Bigfoot‘s Ranae Holland would find them.
