Jane is currently a writer/co-executive producer for Battlestar Galactica, a consulting producer on Dollhouse, and the showrunner/exec producer for the upcoming Battlestar spinoff Caprica. She was previously a staff writer on Buffy the Vampire Slayer – which featured a groundbreaking lesbian storyline – and has written for many other shows including Ellen (the sitcom Ellen DeGeneres came out on), Tru Calling, and Gilmore Girls.
