The Dinah is is a veritable lesbian mecca, drawing crowds of over 20,000 women annually to the biggest lesbian party in the WORLD to their official host city, gorgeous Palm Springs, California. Tickets and hotels sell out fast, which we found out the hard way last year when we didn’t book until last minute! We’ve since wised up.
For so many in our community, The Dinah is like a rite of passage. If you’re a lesbian or bi woman, you know this. You have to experience this AT LEAST once in your life. And when you do, trust us, you’ll be hooked and you’ll want to go back. You will make life-long friends. You’ll finally be surrounded by other like-minded women and you’ll feel right at home. We promise, because it happened for us and we witnessed it happening to so many others around us. In an age where lesbian bars have disappeared, lesbian erasure has become a thing, and it seems like all our connections are virtual – The Dinah is a saving grace. And our Editor-in-Chief behind it all, of course. Speaking of Instagram, that’s where you need to go to WIN a free ticket to Saturday’s pool party for you and a guest. Here’s how:
Starting Thursday, Feb 1st, we will be giving away a ticket to the Saturday Pool Party that is good for two guests, so if you win, you get to bring your girlfriend, or your BFF, or your mom, or your sister, or well…anyone you want! To enter, take a selfie of just you or you with your wife/girlfriend (make it good, but keep it clean) post it on Instagram and tell us why you love AfterEllen and The Dinah. Then use #AEDoesDinah2018 and for extra credit, #TheDinah #TheDinah2018 and #LesbiansLoveAfterEllen in your post. That’s it!
Winners will be announced on Instagram on March 1, 2018. Please only one photo per entry. Winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram. Please not the ticket includes entry to the Saturday Pool Party only, not the cost of travel or lodging.
First, second, and third runners-up for best photo will have their photos featured on our Instagram account.
