Janelle Monae is joining the Gloria Steinem biopic that’s in the works, and here’s what we know so far. The film is an adaptation of Steinem’s 2015 feminist memoir, ‘My Life on the Road.’ Monae joins Julianne Moore and Alicia Vikander. Both actresses portray the women’s rights activist at various stages in her life. Bette Midler is also set to play the role of Bella Abzug.
