24 (Fox, 9:00) – President Taylor (played by out actress Cherry Jones) continues to navigate the volatile peace agreement with the Hassan family, while Renee is forced to negotiate with an arms dealer.
Heroes (NBC, 9:00) – Apparently Claire’s daddy issues will amp up to a whole new level when Samuel spills the secrets of HRG’s past. Meanwhile, Gretchen is still in the car, waiting to get her hand-hold on.
RuPaul’s Drag Race (Logo, 9:00) – Logo’s breakout hit returns for its second season with ten new episodes. Who will crack under the pressure of competing to become “America’s Next Drag Superstar”? Who will go from queen to mean? Well, now you’ve got two hours to figure it out because each episode will be followed by a companion show, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked!
BET Hip Hop Honors (BET, 9:00) – BET held its third annual ceremony in Washington D.C. in January to honor African-American entertainers in a variety of fields. Queen Latifah, Jennifer Hudson, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, India Arie and Gabrielle Union will all take the stage when the show airs tonight, kicking off Black History Month.
Jessica Capshaw on Lopez Tonight (TBS, 11:00) – Jessica Capshaw makes her first talk show circuit stop of the week to talk about playing Arizona Robbins on Grey’s Anatomy, and about her work to help victims of the Haitian earthquake.
Jessica Capshaw on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (check your local listings) – So, you two: what’s it like to be lusted after adored by an entire generation of lesbians? Pretty awesome, huh?
Wanda Sykes’ live HBO comedy special I’ma Be Me is released on DVD.
American Idol (Fox, 8:00) – Posh Spice is back for the last audition episode of the season. Next week: Ellen!
Biggest Loser: Couples (NBC, 9:00) – Jillian Michaels believes in these couples, and if she has to perform actual torture on them until they are crying into their kale smoothies and begging for death, she will do it!
American Idol (Fox, 9:00) – No, seriously, this is the last audition episode. And it’s not even a real episode. It’s just a round-up of all the other contestants Fox didn’t have time to showcase in the first 30 hours of the season.
The Real World: Washington DC (MTV, 10:00) – What kind of shenanigans will Emily and Ty get up to this week? I guess it all depends on whether or not Emily is still hiding under her covers after Ty’s profession of love.
Shear Genius (Bravo, 10:00) – We don’t know yet if any lesbian contestants are competing on this season of Shear Genius, but if the past is any indication, we should have at least one (and four gay dudes). The sad news: Jaclyn Smith isn’t back. The good news: everyone can stop comparing their hair to hers. It brought nothing but heartache.
Grey’s Anatomy (ABC, 9:00) – Everything we’ve wished for Callie and Arizona has come true this year: on-call room hijinks, actual sex scenes (hellooo, shower!), and even some verbal processing. This week, Arizona’s patience will be put to the test when she gives Alex a shot in pediatrics. Next week: Valentine’s Day Massacre!
Skins (Britain’s E4, 10:00 GMT) – UK viewers have been waiting a long time to see Emily and Naomi’s feature episode on Skins. Emily’s mum still thinks she’s in a “lesbian phase,” and tries to pay her to go traveling without Naomi. When they return to school, the police are investigating Sophia’s death, and they’ve got their eyes on Naomi. Emily, of course, goes sleuthing on her girlfriend’s behalf.
Lily Tomlin on The Bonnie Hunt Show (check your local listings) – The only thing that could make this episode better is if Bonnie has some puppies!
Caprica (SyFy, 9:00) – Last week we found out that Sister Clarice is married to a woman. In fact, she’s married to three women – and four dudes. She’s also thoroughly unhinged and five seconds away from declaring Amanda Graystone the Virgin Mary.
Pam Grier on Smallville (CW, 8:00) – Will Pam Grier bring Kit Porter’s trademark sweeping line delivery to the character of Amanda Waller on this two-hour Smallville event? Oh, girl, we hope so.
Margaret Cho on The Ghost Whisperer (CBS, 8:00) – Ghost Whisperer’s executive producer, P.K. Simonds, says that they tailored the role of Ned’s professor specifically for Cho. She’ll be funny, for sure, but her character is also a believer, someone who has been greatly impacted by the paranormal.
The Wanda Sykes Show (Fox, 11:00) – Penn Jillette (half of Penn and Teller) and Donald Faison (from Scrubs) join Wanda as she breaks down the week’s top news stories and mocks the heck out of people who deserve it.
Super Bowl XLIV: Colts vs. Saints (CBS) – Live from Miami, it’s that football game they play between all those billion dollar commercials!
