Meghan McCain is not a lesbian, so don’t think she is, OK Playboy? Here’s what she told the magazine:
I’m not a lesbian, if that’s what you’re asking. I’d be the first person to tell the world I was gay. I’m not private about anything. I think you should live how you should live. But I’m strictly dickly. I can’t help it. I love sex and I love men.
But you can still look at her boobs and she won’t mind it. In fact, I think she prefers it.
Cheryl Dunye is directing a new short and they are raising funds the funds to get it made. Secrets and Toys stars Darryl Stephens and Dalila Ali Rajah, who writes about the short:
So this is the little short film that could. I wrote it years ago, and as many of us do, I sat on it. I love this story. It’s fun, touching, and shows some lovely diverse images of queer people of color. I would love your support in getting it made. I usually spend most of my time outside of mommy-ing and healing doing activism work to help build a country where we all have equal rights. Today I am asking for your support to help make one of my dreams come true.
Everyone that’s ever been in Glee is hosting some form of the GLAAD Awards this year. Just kidding! It’s only three of them. We already told you Naya Rivera and Cory Monteith will be hosting in New York, but now Dianna Agron will be hosting in San Francisco. (You know us gays – we need at least three parties for the same thing.)
Jane Lynch took over hosting duties for Piers Morgan this week and she talked with Joan Rivers about the war on contraception. Of course it’s hilarious and poignant!

I’m so jazzed about The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo graphic novel! Writer Denise Mina talked with Comic Books Resource about the process of putting it all together. An excerpt:
To get boringly technical, I think she is a female character who is oblivious to the male gaze. That is, she doesn’t perceive herself as being seen. She doesn’t worry about the size of her arse or being popular or any of that shit. I have a hundred girlfriends like that but they are so rarely portrayed in popular culture that she is incredibly fresh to the public. Sex and the City is the polar opposite of that construct – women who imagine themselves being seen all the time and behave as if there is a terrible shortage of men. I like that show but they behave as if it’s 1919 and all the men were wiped out in the war and from flu.
I also think Salander is pretty realistic, actually, though she does have superpowers [so] we have to make them credible. For example, something that didn’t come out in the films is that her mother has been battered so badly by her father that she is brain damaged. That’s what motivates her to half kill Bjurman. She can’t be vulnerable. It comes from a position of powerlessness, not because she’s Batman.
