How to Thrive Through Aries Season

Aries Season has entered the picture and lit a fire under everyone’s bum. The results of such boldness look different for everyone, but one thing is indistinguishable: Pisces season moodiness and introspection have been traded in for ample action. What I’m trying to say here, is the phrase, “LFG!” (Let’s f*cking go,) was probably invented by an Aries. The gear shift into this spring astrological period is all gas and no brakes.

The astrological new year begins with Aries, and this season is fresh. I’ve always considered New Year’s Resolutions in January to be silly — this is the time of year to focus on birthing the new. Aries’ term carries the energy you need to pursue passions with vigor. What’s the best way to harness this seasonal vibe? Let main character energy reign supreme and ride the inspirational wave.

Script.

Now is the time to ask for what you want. Last season we leaned into intentions; this season we are going to bring our dreams into fruition. Write your desires and goals down as if they already happened. Express your gratitude for these gifts bestowed. Scripting is manifesting and Aries’ timespan is ripe with possibility.

Play Outside.

The temperatures might still be thawing, but the air is buzzing with Spring vitality and that’s an energetic infusion to say, “Yes!” to. Whatever you enjoy — do it outside. Move your body and allow your mind to notice nature’s rebirth. Whomever you spend your time around, you become like. Spend your time outdoors and become like Mother Nature, growing and blooming and ushering in brighter, busier days.

Embrace the Fury.

Aries are tempermental. Aries season can carry some of the same volatile, fight it out just for funsies energy that our Aries sisters own. Embodying that untamed fury ourselves might feel ridiculously good and satisfying. Do an internet search for a local rage room and go break some inconsequential stuff. Find the most physically aggressive game at your local arcade and let that ninja warrior energy flow. Aggression is not an inherently “bad,” feeling or mood — it is the wind in the sails that propels action. Harness that energy in a healthy way and it will aid your holistic wellness.

Live in the Present.

Aries thrives in the here and now. Drop the thoughts about what happened a month ago and clear out the worries for tomorrow. Your task this season is to stay firmly in the present. Spend your morning consciously and purposefully following a grounding routine to set your tone every day. That’s going to look unique for each of us, but the focus us the same: feel what’s happening right now. If you’re sitting on your porch: what does the mug you’re holding feel ike in your hands? What can you smell? What does the chair you’re sitting on feel like? What does it feel like in your body? What details do you notice in this very morning’s world around you? When a mindful routine is practiced upon waking, it’s easier to carry that same level of presence through the rest of your day. There’s so much happening during Aries season, in nature and in ourselves and we don’t want to miss it. Staying present will help you get the most out of the ram’s cycle.
