Morning Brew – Demi Lovato will be Santana’s love interest on “Glee”

Good morning!

Naya Rivera has shared some juicy news about Demi Lovato coming to Glee.

“I’m excited. I’m so excited to work with her. We have a duet together, and we’re going to be working very closely, so it’ll be awesome. She’s playing my love interest so I’m very, very excited about that. We get to sing a song together…I’m excited to work with her. We’re bringing her to the dark side.”
I think I’m just as excited as you are Naya. Their voices are going to sound great together.

Wonder Woman Lynda Carter is playing a version of herself on the upcoming season of Two and a Half Men. Hopefully it’s because Amber Tamblyn‘s character is a huge fan.

If you’re having any issues with discrimination in the workplace, check out this great piece by Faith Cheltenham.

This just in: Lesbians just want to enslave men. How is it that some guy always finds a way to make lesbianism to be about HIM?

Why can’t straight feminists and lesbians just get along? Because we’re busy enslaving guys and they want to kiss them, that’s why.

Alison Goldfrapp talked with OUT about her new album Tales of Us, which sounds like it’s very cool and queer. Her partner, filmmaker Lisa Gunning, helped make videos to accompany the tracks, and Alison talked about working so closely with her:

“It’s always a slight worry working with your partner. You’re never quite sure whether that’s the right thing to do or not – it could be a bloody disaster. But it’s been fantastic.”

Rumors continue to swirl that Rihanna will play legendary bisexual performer Josephine Baker. Producer Lance W. Reynolds said of RiRi:

“Rihanna is one of the most talented performers of this millennium and with her unique acting and performing abilities, I have no doubt she will bring Josephine back to life on the big screen.”

The only problem I for see is that Rihanna will be too Rihanna in a movie about Josephine.

Director Lynn Shelton talked with Vulture about the rumors Keira Knightley and Chloe Grace Moretz were going to be having sex in her upcoming film Laggies. It’s not happening.

“Keira claims that in everything she does, somebody puts out that it’s going to be a hot lesbian lovefest. She claims that it happens every single time. And it was ickier because Chloe was underage, for sure. But you just got to ignore it. When the movie comes out, a certain number of people are going to be deeply disappointed. But the production company was trying to make it clear that this wasn’t the case, but it didn’t matter. It’s just wishful thinking on their part. It’s not the case. There is nothing there.”

The Arrested Development movie is moving forward. More Portia please. Thanks.
