“A Million Happy Nows” trailer promises laughs, tears and lots of love

Crystal Chappell has been busy revolutionizing the soap opera genre with her websoaps Venice and Beacon Hill, but she’s also managed to find the time to film a full-length feature film. A Million Happy Nows stars Chappell and her frequent leading lady Jessica Leccia as a couple who have to face a serious diagnosis that will change their lives and the future they imagined together.

Crystal plays soap opera star Lainey Allen who decides to retire from the business, and move into a beach house with her publicist/partner Eva Morales (Jessica). When it becomes evident that Lainey’s memory is struggling, the couple seeks out medical help and Lainey is given the devastating diagnosis of Early Onset Alzheimer’s. While the film deals with a very heavy subject, there a beautiful moments of humor, passion and of course, love. Crystal and Jessica continue to have stellar chemistry and that elevates pretty much any subject they tackle together. I’d watch these two read the back of cereal boxes to each other.

Written by Marisa Calin and produced by Crystal, A Million Happy Nows is expected to be released later this year. We will be sure to update you as soon as we know where the film will be screening.
