I have a soft spot for Tabatha Coffey because she was a contestant on the first show I ever recapped for AfterEllen. Shear Genius didn’t last long, and Coffey didn’t even win the competition, but she was easily the fan favorite and now she’s in her fifth season of doing Tabatha Takes Over for Bravo. Last night she chatted with Joy Behar about growing up in an environment with many transgender women, and about how she had to come out as a lesbian to her mother two times.
