Raven-Symonè tweets thanks to government for her right to marry

Today, actress Raven Symonè joyously tweeted the following:

I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you

Presumably, she was referring to recent political development surrounding marriage equality, but she didn’t officially “come out.” She did retweet coming out-related messages from her followers:

The National Enquirer outed Symone last year, and she responded to the speculation about her sexuality on Twitter when she wrote:

My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m datings to know. I’m not one for a public display of my life.

Edit: Raven came out in an official statement on Friday afternoon:

I am very happy that gay marriage is opening up around the country and is being accepted. I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay marriage. I, however am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to.
