Watch Now! Lauren Devine’s “Try Sexual” is an orgy

Here’s the great thing about Lauren Devine’s “Try Sexual” song and video: It’s not called “Bisexual.” There’s a major difference and it’s in the orgy situation happening. Watch and see what I mean.

Lauren told The Huffington Post she wanted to do a “celebratory song about sexuality.” Then she said:

The title “Try Sexual” is a play on bisexual but it’s also more of an attitude than a preference: It’s just a way to describe people who are happy and exploratory and #DTT (Down to Try).”
Well, Lauren, bisexuality is also more of an orientation than a preference. As for how she identifies:
Oh I’m definitely #DTT (Down to Try). I’ve always been a very outgoing and flirty person and combine that with my high threshold for fear and constant need for a heart-pumping adrenaline rush and it bleeds over into my sexuality. I’m so energized and turned on by new people and new things, it makes me overconfidently curious. I’m always on a mission for someone from a totally different walk of life to see what I can learn. I have a knack for bringing new people and new ideas together just using the lure of fun, and in the end if I can diversify my own life and hopefully someone else’s then I feel an unbeatable satisfaction. I guess I’m a pervert for a situation.
That’s great for you, Ms. Devine, but don’t get it twisted: Queer women are interested in being taken seriously beyond their ability to fall in love with someone no matter their gender identity. Stereotypes about bi women include the ideas they are greedy and want to have all kinds of penises and vaginas at once. Where did I just see that? Oh right, in this video.

My sincere thanks for not calling it “Bisexual.”
