Melissa Johnson directed this new short for ESPN’s Nine for IX series all about Brittney Griner’s time spent in China last year. Lifesize is 15 minutes worth watching, as it was also informed by out ESPN journalist Kate Fagan’s time spent covering Brittney’s career with the Zhejiang Golden Bulls.
The Nine for IX series is produced in part by Robin Roberts and will air in its entirety (a two hour block of five short films including Lifesize) on Saturday, August 2, at 2:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. Other films include Rowdy Ronda Rousey and Uncharted Waters about America’s first ever all-women Cup team.
