Ellen DeGeneres Stars In Lady Gaga’s Love Project Ad & Scores Her Own Game Show

Did anyone catch Ellen’s cameo in Lady Gaga’s Love Project ad during the Oscars? While the bit was short, it included many meaningful quotes on the power of love from DeGeneres, Gaga herself, and Pharrell Williams. Check it out in full below!

Ellen: “Love is why we’re here.”
In even more amazing news, Ellen just scored her own GAME SHOW called Games of Games. I can’t think of a better new endeavor for DeGeneres!

Per the press release, the show will be a hodgepodge of the comic’s favorite games like What’s In the Box and Know Or Go?.

The lesbian renegade said of the news:

“I’m so excited to be hosting a huge primetime game show for NBC. We’re pulling out all the stops – gigantic sets, hilarious games. It’s going to be like a combination of ‘American Ninja Warrior,’ ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race,’ and a water park. OK, it’s nothing like that, but you should still watch.”

Debbie Harry Reveals She No Longer Identifies As Bi

Photo: Instagram

Sorry, Blondie fans.

While Debbie has been openly bisexual for a few years now, she recently dismissed her orientation and same-sex relationships as “hormone changes”. The rocker first came out as bi in 2014.

Speaking on her new outlook, the icon explained:

“My bisexual days have gone by actually. I have great affection for some of my female friends but I think maybe when I was younger it might have been a little more hormonal and our hormones change.”
… hormones be crazy, right?!

Ruby Rose Stuns At The Oscars & Nabs An Award In Australia

Get it, Ruby!

While we already covered the Oscars HERE, I’d like to take a moment to appreciate Ms. Rose’s looks for the evening. I think it’s safe to say the actress stole the show in her mod and revealing gowns — even the actress’ girlfriend Jessica Origliasso felt compelled to give her a public AMEN!

Check out the celesbian’s looks below:

I think I prefer the white dress.

A few days after the ceremony, Australia’s first LGBTI award show honored Ruby with the “Celebrity of the Year” award. Since Ruby is super busy these days, Jess accepted the honor on her behalf:

Breaking News: Study Shows Lesbian & Bisexual Women Have Lots Of Orgasms

Photo: Pinterest

Not only do I feel like this narrative gets recycled over and over again, but I’m also confused as to why this story went viral. Women have good sex with each other! Spread that shit like wildfire!

According to a recent study surveying 52,000 people, 86 percent of lesbian participants reported usually or always orgasming during sexual activity while bisexual women clocked in at 66 percent. As for straight women, 65 percent claimed to climax during sex.

While this info isn’t mind-blowing, one article discussing the study brought up some really great points on the alleged “mystery of the clitoris”:

“The authors of the study propose that women may give their female partners more orgasms than men do because “lesbian women are in a better position to understand how different behaviors feel for their partner (e.g., stimulating the clitoris) and how these sensations build toward orgasm.” This is some straight-up hogwash. There is no magic incantation, no hard-to-memorize sequence of flourishes, no advanced level of technical know-how required to unlock the mystery of the clitoris. The clitoris is not impossible to understand for any person who doesn’t have one. Every woman and every set of genitals is different; what works for one may not work for another, which means having the gear doesn’t automatically mean universal mastery.”
Yes to all of this! Each woman’s body is different and the magic of the clitoris can be unlocked by anyone. Brush up on your “cliteracy” HERE!

Slovenia & Finland Legalize Same-Sex Marriage!

Photo: Tumblr

Awesome news! Slovenia and Finland just became the latest countries to legalize gay marriage. While the laws are still iffy on same-sex adoption rights in both countries, this is a big step forward for the LGBT community at large. The last country (other than the U.S.) to legalize same-sex marriage was Ireland in 2015.

An official in Slovenia gushed:

“We are very happy and proud that we will perform the first same-sex wedding. We believe that such marriages are an important step towards formation of an inclusive society where people have equal rights.”
Go get married, people!

Disney Cartoon Goes Gay!

OMG, the gays are indoctrinating the CHILDREN.

Earlier this week, Disney’s animated series Star Vs The Forces Of Evil aired an episode featuring four same-sex couples K-I-S-S-I-N-G. While Disney slyly included lesbian parents in a 2014 episode of Good Luck Charlie, this is the network’s first time at depicting LGBT characters in a prominent way.

Take a look at the clip below:

Naturally, Fox News had a hilarious line about about the TV milestone:

“The folks who gave us Mickey Mouse and Goofy have decided it’s time for your children to enjoy same-sex romance while they slurp down their Fruit Loops.”
Tragic. Fruit Loops will NEVER taste the same.

Ash Wednesday Gets An LGBTQ Makeover

I can get on board with this.

As some of you may know, Ash Wednesday was this week. In an effort to make the religious event more inclusive of the LGBTQ community, New York faith-based organization “Parity” encouraged Christian clergy members to offer “Glitter + Ash” for their queer parishioners. According to reports, a whopping 150 priests took part in the movement — not bad for its first year!

Why glitter? Listen to the reasoning below and then check out some participant photos:

One priest praised the event, saying:

“I love the concept of not just ashes but glitter for new hope and new life, and just standing up for minorities, for those who are incredibly in distress at these times.”

Voice Contestant Blows Judges Away With Her Performance & Coming Out Story

Photo: NBC

What an emotional moment!

On Monday night, an openly gay Voice contestant named Stephanie Rice KILLED her audition and brought Kelly Clarkson to tears with her coming out story. Apparently the Houston native was disowned by her parents for being gay, a traumatic event which she channeled into her singing aspirations.

Rice recalled:

“When I was 18, I came out to my parents, and my dad’s a pastor and… And they disowned me, and I’ve been taking that brokenness and emotion, and I’ve been channeling it into the only form that I knew how, which was through music.”
Naturally, LGBT-rights advocate Kelly was incredibly moved by Stephanie’s admission and rendition of her single Piece By Piece:

I’m crying? No YOU’RE crying!

Jackie Warner Has A Run In With The Law

Photo: Instagram

Oh no, Jackie. Just no.

According to TMZ, the lesbian fitness guru was arrested in West Hollywood last Friday after she crashed her car into a pole. To make matters even worse, the Bravo alum almost ran over one of the responding officers.

Per Warner’s people, the star was “sleep driving” after taking an Ambien earlier that evening. Adding credence to the story is the fact that Jackie was wearing no pants at the time of the wreck.

… on the other hand, police say the 48-year-old blew a .08, which is exactly the legal limit for DUIs. So, who really knows what happened. I’ll keep you updated as I get more info on this case.

ClexaCon Is Here!

Photo: Instagram

It’s ClexaCon weekend, y’all! Who is planning on going?

For those unfamiliar with the event, ClexaCon was initially devised to commemorate the beloved relationship between Clarke and Lexa from the CW’s 100. The kick ass convention also intends to bring awareness to LGBTQ representation in entertainment by hosting relevant artists, actresses, YouTubers, and other industry professionals. Simply put: it’s a gathering where you can network and fangirl with like-minded ladies.

The inaugural lineup includes: Amy Acker (“Person of Interest, “Angel”), show runner Emily Andras (“Wynonna Earp,” “Lost Girl), Lynn Chen (“Saving Face”), Gabrielle Christian (“South of Nowhere”), Ali Liebert (“Bomb Girls”, “Lost Girl”), Mandy Musgrave (“South of Nowhere’) and MORE.

As for the panels, ClexaCon 2017 is offering up Bring Your Own Bulletproof Vest: How to Write Damn Good T.V. for Women, Creating an Original Web Series, Diversity in Comics, Fanfiction and the Art of a Good Love Scene, How to Raise Investment for your LGBTQ Business: from Crowdfundraising to Venture Backing, and Transgender Representation in the Media.

Love it! I’m jealous of everybody who gets to go this year.

Event organizers said in a statement:
“We want ClexaCon to be a place where fans from around the world connect and form friendships. If we can impact just one person’s life positively, then we have accomplished our goal.”
Yes! Let’s strengthen our community in cool and productive ways.

P.S. Check out Elise Bauman’s message for attendees below! Get excited!
