He Said/We Said: June

dapperQ.com is pleased to present the fourth installment of its multimedia fashion feature He Said/We Said which showcases creatively queer takes on high-fashion menswear. Here’s the gist: dapperQ invites diverse members of its community to model a look asdthat they create using a photo of a menswear ensemble as inspiration.

This month’s shoot is based around a Fall 2011 Moschino menswear ensemble. It features everyone’s favorite sugarbutch, a postmodern drag queen, Miss Choice C*nts 2011, the runner up for Miss Lez 2011 and a Virgo-of-all-Trades. All photos by Yi-Ching Lin.

dapperQ.com is an inclusive, queer fashion website dedicated to those who transgress (or are seeking courage to transgress) men’s fashion. The site has a fashion focus. But, more importantly, it serves as a vehicle to explore fashion as a social and cultural construct, providing our readers and writers with a safe space to document and discuss the ways in which gender role expectations in fashion shape who we are as individuals and as a community.
