For the first time in history, the Tango World Tournament in Argentina allowed same-sex couples on the dance floor. Four same-sex couples competed (three male and one female) and were cheered on by the crowd. I must mention that the lone female couple, comprised of Marlene Heyman and Lucia Christe, are “not gay.” #Buzzkill.

Australian actress Stef Dawson has been cast to play District 4 victor Annie Cresta in the final two Hunger Games films Mockingjay: Part 1 & 2.

I’m excited to announce that Rosie O’Donnell will be guest starring on one of my favorite shows of all time! O’Donnell will be featured on truTv’s September 12th episode of Impractical Jokers. The first female member of the New York Stock Exchanged has died. Muriel Siebert “bought a seat on the New York Stock Exchange in December 1967 after months of struggling with the male-dominated business world that initially resisted her efforts to join.” Siebert died of cancer at the age of 80. Siebert never married and didn’t have children. R.I.P. Muriel.

This Wednesday at 8 pm, Julie Goldman (The Big Gay Sketch Show) will headline the Come Out Laughing comedy show at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, CA.
