Two of my favorite ladies, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, will honor my comedic hero Carol Burnett at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. On October 20th Burnett will receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. The big event is scheduled to air on November 24 on PBS.

Queen Latifah has been named Pantene’s latest spokes model!

Glee’s latest addition Demi Lovato is lending her eyes to Acuvue contacts. p.s. You can still be successful with glasses.

Speaking of Glee, Naya Rivera posted this lovely photo of “Santana” on Instagram.

Rooney Mara stars in Calvin Klein’s Downtown perfume commercial. (Adorable dog not included.)

Yesterday I saw a repeat of MTV’s dating show Friend Zone featuring lesbian couple Sandra and Jellie. If you haven’t seen this episode yet watch it, it’s adorable! (Fast forward to the 12:15 mark to see their love story.)

Check out lesbian rapper JenRO’s music video for “Down Chick.”

And while you’re at it, check out Goldfrapp’s video for “Annabel.”

Congratulations to Pariah’s Dee Rees for being named one of the New York Times’ 20 Young Directors To Watch!
