Afternoon Delight: Ellen DeGeneres and Liz Feldman developing show with lesbian lead for NBC

Good afternoon world!

Happy birthday to Julie Roberts, Jami Gertz, Troian Bellisario, Lauren Holly, Daphne Zuniga and Annie Potts!

Ellen DeGeneres is developing a new show with out writer (and former AE vlogger) Liz Feldman for NBC. Deadline reports, “The untitled project, written/exec produced by openly gay comedy scribe Liz Feldman (2 Broke Girls), centers on a lesbian and her straight male best friend who get pregnant just as he meets and marries the love of his life.”

Speaking of former AE vloggers, Kate McKinnon killed it again on this week’s Saturday Night Live. Kate needs her own show immediately!

And I’m never going to think of my beloved pumpkin-scented candles again thanks to Kate and her SNL co-stars:

Congratulations to expectant mom Olivia Wilde!

The dating docudrama Catfish will return to MTV for a third season.
