Purple Milk is looking for queer actors for their new short film

Filmmakers Alexandra Roxo and Natalie Leite make up Purple Milk, the creators of web show Be Here Nowish and the upcoming feature film Bare (starring Dianna Agron). Now they’re up to another project and want your help, as they directing a short film for a popular car company and looking to the queer community to find their lead.

“In the past few years LGBQT-themed advertising have been on the rise in the US which is wonderful,” Purple Milk says. “However, most of these commercials don’t ever show LGBTQ couples kissing or touching. Boo. We want to change that.”

Instead of going the traditional casting route, Purple Milk wants to reach out to our community and take submissions from YOU for the lead role! The shoot is happening in the first week of December in LA, so we are looking for people in the greater LA area.

The Role: A girl, any ethnicity (20s-early 30s) who will be on a bike during most of the film. So you gotta enjoy biking/be down to sweat! Someone with comedy experience is a plus! Also must be ok with kissing another female actress on camera. (Which may be Natalie or Alexandra…you’ll have to find out!)

Purple Milk is also looking for extras with special talents: A queer marching band, drag queens, cat walkers, fire jugglers, etc.

If any of this sounds like you, email a photo and video clips to info@drinkpurplemilk.com.
