Ellen DeGeneres picks up two more Daytime Emmys

Ellen DeGeneres wasn’t at the Daytime Emmy Awards yesterday, but she did appear in a video with Matt Lauer that aired at the beginning of the show, leading to a ton of thanking Matt Lauer throughout the rest of the show. (It’s for charity.)

The Ellen DeGeneres Show also picked up two new Emmys for Outstanding talk show / Entertainment and Outstanding New Approaches – Enhancement To A Daytime Program Or Series. Out director Liz Patrick took the stage with the show’s producers and other crew members to accept. (She’s the face peeking through the center!)

Although they didn’t win, some of our other favorite LGBT women (or those who play them) were in attendance. New mom Sara Gilbert looked fantastic on stage with her The Talk co-hosts.

Meredith Baxter was up for Special Guest Performer for her role on Young and the Restless.

The cast of East Los High (including Outstanding Actress nominee Vanessa Vasquez, who plays bisexual character Camilla) were up for Outstanding New Approaches Drama Series.

Check out the full list of winners here and congrats to Ellen on her 100,000,000th award. (Rough estimate.)
