Sarah Paulson, “Bessie” and other shows and people we love win Critics’ Choice Awards

Last night A&E aired the Critics Choice TV Awards where some of the people and shows we love were honored with nominations and wins. Out actress Sarah Paulson won for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie or Limited Series for her role(s) in American Horror Story: Freak Show, and she also presented the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series award to Lorraine Toussaint for Orange is the New Black. The very queer Bessie won Best Movie Made for Television, and Queen Latifah and Dee Rees took the stage with producers to accept the crystal statue. HBO also won for Olive Kitteridge, and director Lisa Cholodenko was on hand to express her gratitude.
