Morning Brew – Alycia Debnam-Carey officially returning to “The 100” as Lexa in Season 3

Good morning!

Megan Rapinoe continues to have the best month ever. Over the weekend, she threw out the first pitch at the Seattle Mariners game, was honored by Seattle Reign fans and her hometown of Redding, California has declared July 21 will be Megan Rapinoe Day. She was also gifted a WWE championship belt.

Some of our faves were at Comic-Con this weekend! More on that from Chelsea Steiner, who was in attendance, but here are a few cool shots from the EW party red carpet.

Perhaps some of the best news to come out of the Con so far: Lexa is making a return to The 100! ” EP Jason Rothenberg said during the show’s panel:

“I suppose there’s hope for reconciliation, because Alycia Debnam-Carey is coming back to the show. And, yes, Clarke is pissed and there’ll be fireworks between them that we’ve never seen before. I think that it’ll be interesting to see how they butt heads. Or not.”

Here’s Alycia at Comic-Con, cheating on Eliza Taylor with her Fear the Walking Dead co-star Elizabeth Rodriguez.

And Eliza getting her back with Wendi McLendon-Covey:

Kate Winslet tells another woman to get naked in The Dressmaker and she’s accused of being “a murderer and a lesbian.” Too bad she seems to be in love with Liam Hemsworth in this film.

The all-female Ghostbusters cast can call us….although that’s not usually how it works.

Miley Cyrus and Stella Maxwell held hands on a date to Nobu, and I’m jealous because that place is the bomb.

There’s a lesbian ostrich farmer in the new film What We Did On Our Holiday.

Bryan Fuller would love to see Ellen Page play Clarice Starling. ME TOO!

Jane Lynch talks about her feelings on the closet and coming out.

Daniela Sea got all emotional talking about marriage equality.

Amigas Latinas is folding after 20 years of advocacy for LGBT Latina women in Chicago. Says co-founder Evette Cardona:

“We’ve made the decision to pass this on to the next generation so our challenge to them is to continue this work. There’s still a lot to be done but look at what we’ve accomplished and how far we’ve come as a community over the past 20 years. No matter what happens in the days to come we should celebrate who we are with pride and acceptance without boundaries or limitations fearlessly and unapologetically representing who we are as a community.”

Casey Legler is a face of Aussie brand TheUpside.

BTW, that Oregon bakery who was fined for refusing to bake a lesbian couple a cake? Turns out that wasn’t why they have to pony up: It’s because they released the couple’s address which led to all kinds of harassment. Someone call Candace Cameron and ask her how she feels about that. We’re all dying to know.

There was an LGBT marriage-a-thon in Waco, Texas over the weekend.
