Out actress Samira Wiley is lending her voice to Telltale Games’ new Walking Dead video game. The Orange is the New Black star’s voice will be all over The Walking Dead: Michonne when it premieres as part of a three-part series in February.
Telltale announced today that Michonne’s storyline will explore “her untold journey during the time between issues #126 and #139. … Players will discover what took Michonne away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of her trusted group… and what brought her back.” They also describe Samira’s role as being “haunted by her past and coping with unimaginable loss and regret.”
The Walking Dead: Michonne will be available for PC/Mac, Playstation, Xbox, and both iOS and Android devices. No word on if players can help Michonne to discover her latent lesbianism. (Kidding. Kind of.) You can catch Samira as Michonne at the end of this new trailer.
She nailed it! Now we just have to wait until February.
