Kiersey Clemons meets a girl she likes in “Easy”

When Kiersey Clemons (Dope, Transparent) first told me about her role in Easy, she promised queer women were going to love it. Based on the trailer for the new Netflix anthology series, it appears she was right.

Creator Joe Swanberg has an all-star cast for his eight-episode sex and relationships comedy, including Malin Akerman, Emily Ratajkowski, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Aya Cash, Jane Adams and Elizabeth Reaser. The official description of the show says it “explores diverse Chicago characters as they fumble through the modern maze of love, sex, technology and culture. From a husband and wife reigniting their sex life with gender defining role play, to a graphic novelist navigating the blurred lines of artistic privacy, to a couple soliciting a partner for a threesome, Easy is a honest, comedic look at the landscape of modern relationships.”

Easy debuts on September 22.
