The celebration of Rachel’s return was perhaps a bit premature.
Rachel was scheduled to return Monday night, but was out sick. Now you know what it sounds like when the internet screams.
Best wishes to Ms. Maddow for a speedy recovery. And my sincere apologies to everyone if my cocky and premature celebrations somehow screwed up the karma of Rachel’s return. Or in any way encouraged her to mess with our heads.
Anyway, just to be safe, I’ll make no further predictions.
In the meantime, since we were all looking forward to Rachel’s take on Sarah Palin’s resignation, here’s the next best thing:
