Betty White is ready to bring the funny to “Saturday Night Live” this weekend

This Saturday night cancel your plans, give that hot date a raincheck and join me on the couch because Betty White is going live from New York. The 88-year-old will host Saturday Night Live this weekend as part of a continued career renaissance that the star herself calls “ridiculous.”

What can we expect from her hosting gig? For one, no nudity, or as she told The Today Show “very little nudity.” Also expect to see appearances by Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Molly Shannon, Ana Gasteyerand Rachel Dratch. “Weekend Update” anchor Seth Meyer called the assembled talent for the episode a “dream team” and tweeted that their table read was “like watching the Harlem Globetrotters practice. Magic.”

Wow, that much assembled female funny is almost too awesome to comprehend. With those numbers, it seems impossible that SNL won’t make amends for criminally under using the rest of its female cast when Tina hosted last month. Dratch hinted in an interview yesterday that several of the former cast mates would be bringing back some of their most beloved characters. And, yes, a Golden Girls parody is in the works. Check out these promos to get a taste of what Betty is bringing to the table.

Type nerds! I feel like camping out in front of my TV right now just to make sure I don’t’ miss a second. How about you?
