NBC decides to “Chase” down Rose Rollins

Rose Rollins is on a Chase. Her new crime drama series was picked up by NBC this week.

Chase is a game of cat-and-mouse that follows a team of U.S. marshals as they track down the country’s most dangerous fugitives. Rose plays a weapons and tactical specialist and leading the team is Kelli Giddish (of the short-lived series Past Life), who plays U.S. Marshal Annie Frost. Annie is described as “a cowboy boot-wearing deputy whose sharp mind and unique Texas upbringing help her track down the violent criminals on the run.”

Rounding out the elite team are Cole Hauser, Amaury Nolasco and Jesse Metcalfe. Uber executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI, The Amazing Race, Pirates of the Caribbeanand countless other action films) and Cold Caseexecutive producer Jennifer Johnson are behind the series. Angela Bromstad, NBC President of Primetime Entertainment, called the show: “a thrill ride that you would expect from a Jerry Bruckheimer action series. Equally important, it also features a great cast.”

Well, Rose certainly is great. And we already know she looks great playing tough. So, are you excited to go on this Chase with her?
