Afternoon Delight: The lesbian gyno sniffs a model on “New Girl,” Chloe Sevigny sleuths for “Those Who Kill”

Good afternoon and happy hump day!

Happy birthday to Jamie Chung, Mandy Moore, Chyler Leigh and Shay Mitchell!

Make sure to tune into The Tonight Show on Thursday to see Tegan and Sara in action.

Janina Gavankar (The L Word, True Blood) has joined the cast of the lesbian series The N&N Files. The project is currently raising funds on indiegogo so help out if you can.

Jackie Warner is offering up crunch-free ab exercises just in time for bikini season.

Adele graces the cover of Elle‘s Women in Music Issue. (Does this woman ever take a bad picture?)

Chloe Sevigny is once again returning to the small screen. A&E has ordered 10-episodes of Sevigny’s serial killer drama Those Who Kill. In the series Sevigny will play “Catherine Jensen, a freshly minted and incredibly smart police detective who tracks down serial killers.”

HBO is developing a documentary about the late Nora Ephron’s life.

Actress Anne Heche (who can be seen in NBC’s Save Me) is also a celebrity blogger for People magazine. Heche wrote about her child’s public temper tantrum so if you’re thinking about reproducing, read this first.

Last night the pregnant lesbian doctor character (played by June Diane-Raphael) returned to Fox’s New Girl. (I liked when she secretly smelled the models.)

If you’re in the mood to laugh, check out Jackie Monahan’s interview with Curve magazine.

MTV’s Buckwild has been canceled following cast member Shain Gandee’s death. (I feel really bad for Shain’s family.)

Freedom to Marry has posted this

funny and sweet clip about former Olympian Gail Marquis and her wife Audrey Smaltz. How could anyone watch these two together and still oppose marriage equality? (I also love to use the term "wife." Everyday activism!)
