Carrie Preston has been cast in Dustin Lance Black‘s LGBT mini-series When We Rise. Carrie will play “Sally Gearheart, a regal and smart radical, who has had a long career as a gay rights activist.” Sally is a living legend, and Carrie is a longtime ally of the community.
