Morning Brew – Pink records a new theme song for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”

Good morning! It’s Thursday!

Katy Faust is an American daughter of two moms who is encouraging Australians to keep their marriages between one man and one woman. This woman needs better hobbies!

Berlin is playing host to a historical gay exhibit called Homosexuality_ies and it sounds amazing.

Entering the first section of the exhibition in the German Historical Museum, the contemporary coming out stories, paintings by and of prominent homosexual figures, and a collection of black and white photographs of Berlin’s gay and cross-dressing scene dating from the turn of the 20th century are encountered.

Following this, the ‘Savage Knowledge’ section documents a queer vocabulary from A – Z. The women’s movement, and the history of protest and activism by gay and lesbian groups in Germany before, during, and after its division into East and West, are central to this section.

To Germany we go!

Tig Notaro talked about her new kitten, Fluff, while on Seth Meyers this week. She also shared some recent fan experiences.

A lesbian couple had a Doctor Who-themed wedding, dressed like Madame Vastra and Jenny. It was on the CBBC children’s reality show called Marrying Mum and Dad, and the ladies’ kids were so thrilled, despite the name of the show leaving out their other mum.

When The Ellen DeGeneres Show returns for an all new season this fall, it will have a new theme song from none other than Pink!

I didn’t know that people assume women doctors are all gay, but Chelsea Football Club’s resident doc Eva Carneiro says it’s either that or they are assumed to “get off to Tom Cruise” or “be lesbian.”

You officially need to step up your proposal game because this woman asked her gf to marry her while underwater.

Complications star Jessica Szohr shared Nina Dobrev as her #WCW yesterday.

Vulture spent a day with Lily Tomlin and she talked about her decision to live out but not come out on the cover of Time magazine.

“I don’t know how [that Time cover] would have changed what I did. I might have been a heroine to a small group, but then I would have to slog through the rejection and everything to get back to where I left off.”

2015 Los Angeles Film Festival - "Grandma" - Opening Night Premiere

This is what Jill Soloway‘s office looks like.

Opening Ceremony has a sexy piece on Nina Sky‘s Nicole Albino and designer wife Erin Magee. Here’s a quote from Erin on lesbians being overlooked in fashion:

“I feel like we’re very underrepresented. What, there’s like, Jenna Lyons and Jenny Shimizu… there’s not a lot. There are probably tons and and it’s not really talked about at all.”
