Morning Brew – “General Hospital” gets a professor/student lesbian storyline

Good morning!

The UK Supreme Court decided to hear the appeal of a non-biological lesbian mother of a seven-year-old girl who was taken to Pakistan by her bio mom after the women split up in 2011.

Related: Playboy Playmate Angie Vu is in prison for trying to take her nine-year-old out of the country and away from the girl’s father, and, of course, she says she’s trying to steer clear of any Orange is the New Black scenarios.

“A lot of lesbians around here and a few blondies are hitting on me. But I prefer to read my Bible for now.”

For now, guys.

And in even MORE related news, A Mennonite pastor convicted of providing assistance to “an ex-lesbian” who fled the country with her daughter has lost his appeal and will report to prison next month.

General Hospital has a new lesbian character! Ashley Jones plays Professor Parker Forsyth who it appears had an (off-screen) affair with her student Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth).

Best news: Angel Haze is performing at The Dinah in April.
