Welcome to May 2017, people! As AE writer Caroline Cook already clued you in on, Anna Wintour’s annual Met Gala took place on May 2. Luckily for us, a bunch of lady lovin’ ladies attended the coveted event, including Ruby Rose, Sarah Paulson, and Cara Delevingne. I’ve included some behind-the-scenes snaps to compliment AE’s coverage of the gala.

In other news, Roseanne scored a revival (Yay for Sara Gilbert!), Sarah Paulson & Holland Taylor flaunted their love all over New York City, and Planned Parenthood finally released Kristen Stewart’s music video for CHVRCHES.

Lez get to it!

Lady Lovin’ Ladies Stun At The Met Gala

High fashion and LGBTQ women, need I say more? On Tuesday, Cara, Ruby, and Sarah attended the annual Met Gala in New York City. This year’s theme was Rei Kawakubo/Commes des Garçons.

Although we already covered the paparazzi ready entrance looks, below you’ll find some behind-the-scene shots of the women. I’ve also included posts from Cara, Ruby, and Sarah’s personal social media accounts so you can check out there thoughts on the glamorous evening.

P.S. I know the above shot/post isn’t from the gala — I just found it relevant given the event’s emphasis on beauty and possessions.

Roseanne Is Getting A Revival

Rejoice, Roseanne fans! According to Deadline, an eight-episode reboot of the beloved series is currently being bid on by multiple networks. Good news is, the revival will be executive produced by the original series’ EPs and will feature just about everyone from the original cast. Sara Gilbert, who came out as a lesbian in 2010, will appear alongside Roseanne Bar, Laurie Metcalf, and John Goodman in the reboot. There’s also word that Gilbert’s real life ex-boyfriend Johnny Galecki will reprise his role as David Healy. Although there hasn’t been an official statement made on the revival, I expect fans will get confirmation after the bidding war ends.

In response to the news, Sara remained quiet while her TV mom had this to say:

Planned Parenthood Releases CHVRCHES’ Kristen Stewart-Directed Music Video

After weeks of  previews, Planned Parenthood finally released the full Kristen-directed video for CHVRCHES’ Down Side of Me. The project is an extension of 7-Inches For Planned Parenthood, a benefit compilation including the likes of St. Vincent, Björk, Mary J. Blige, Sleater-Kinney, John Legend, Margaret Atwood, Jenny Slate, Margaret Cho, and more. The live recording of Down Side of Me appears on the collaborative effort.

Check out the full video below:

Hmm… while I’m not sure about the video, I really love the live take of this song.
