We open on Kane meeting someone in a dark alleyway. He’s paying for information about the painting from Kate’s phone – the guy Kane meets with says it’s from Coryana (which we know is Safiyah’s island.) However, right as the guy reveals this, he is killed by a random man with a pole. Batwoman, of course, swoops in and captures the pole-guy, which Kane objects to. Kane and Ryan are at odds here, and Ryan says “all crows are bastards” while making a hasty exit.

Jump to Ryan and Ang making breakfast. The two had reconciled the night prior, and Ang moves in to kiss Ryan and discovers her Kryptonite injury. How did she not notice the night before??? We digress, and instead note how cute and gay these two are.

Mary helps Ryan with her injury; Ryan asks her not to tell Luke. Luke has been comparing Ryan a lot to Kate, and she’s frustrated with him for it. Ryan had kept the pole-guy hostage for now, and Luke is monitoring him.

Back at the Crow HQ, Kane and Sophie interview Evan. Evan is one of Kate’s past friends who is an art curator in Gotham. Evan refuses to help the Crow’s find the piece of art they need, and leaves quickly after being accused of working for the Collective (an underground art trading organization.)

Cut to Alice at a motel trying to remember Ocean. She finds him at the motel bar, and they do shots together and talk. More on that later.

Sophie calls for Batwoman; she offers Ryan a deal for the prisoner Ryan is holding hostage. They both want the same thing: to find Kate. Someone was listening from the sidelines…

Ryan, however, goes to Luke and Mary saying she doesn’t want to work with Sophie. We find out that the Crows were the ones who arrested Ryan for drugs that were Ang’s, not hers. Likewise, Luke shares that the Crows killed his father — but he still wants to work with them to find Kate.

Ryan decides to accept Kane and Sophie’s help, and they all meet with the prisoner. Kane beats the guy to literal death (ugh) but they find out that the Napier painting Kate had a photo of is a map to Coryana. Sophie asks Ryan to attend an art exhibit, hosted by Evan, that contains the painting.

Alice and Ocean are still chilling at the bar. Ocean bails early when things get personal, and Alice heads to his motel room to break in. However, he catches her and knocks her out. When she comes to, we find out that Ocean is Safiyah’s brother.

Mary is now doing Ryan’s makeup for the event, and Luke comes in to break down the plan with everyone. When Ryan gets to the event she brings a Batwoman boomerang, and Evan accepts it but doesn’t let her in. That’s when Ang shows up to bail Ryan out, and it’s revealed that she is there pushing drugs.

Ryan find the Napier painting and snags evidence off of it; however, Luke says she’s going to have to steal it.

Back to Alice and Ocean — Ocean tries to kill Alice, but suddenly remembers something about him defending her to Safiyah.

Back to Ryan; she’s prepping to steal the painting, but someone else gets to it first. Wolf Spider. Ryan (as Batwoman now) confronts Wolf Spider, but he gets away and Ryan falls down, in pain from her Kryptonite wound.

The police chase Wolfie and end up almost killing them with their car; they leave him for dead, taking the painting to the Crows. Ryan finds him and takes him to Mary, and it is reveals that Evan is the wolf. Evan is alive, but Ryan gets upset with Luke and Mary for pushing her to work with the Crows, letting this happen.

Alice and Ocean are still in his motel room, waiting to hear back from Safiyah. Assassins shows up to kill them, but Ocean and Alice work together and end up killing them. Whew!

Ryan expresses that she’s pissed at Sophie and the police for what they did; come to find out that it wasn’t even worth it. Mary reveals to Evan that the painting was fake all along!

Ryan is home now and she’s in a lot of pain. She takes her bandaid off to reveal her wound is way, way worse.

In the final scene, Alice and Ocean are driving away from the crime scene. Ocean asks Alice to get a tube from behind her, and it’s revealed that Ocean has the Napier painting.

Roll credits.
