How to Have a Very Lesbian Christmas

With all the strides we’ve made in visibility in the last few decades, it still boggles the mind that we don’t have any lesbian-themed Christmas films to watch every year. As many times as we’ve seen classics like White Christmas or modern movies like Elf, we’re still longing for holiday stories of our own.

That being said, we’re not completely without. There are several options when it comes to finding bits of Sapphic splendor this season, in books, movies, TV shows and web shorts. We’ve compiled them here for you. Consider it a gift from Mrs. Claus and her queer little elves.

(Note: We didn’t include the most recent aired Christmas specials like Pretty Little Liars and The Fosters because, duh, you just watched them.)
