Anyway, moving on.
Rachel calls Sarah to try to help but Sarah isn’t interested. When she hangs up, Ira expresses that he can see now that the two of them really don’t like each other. Rachel points out that Sarah launched a pencil into her eye, so I mean yeah, a little bit of sibling rivalry there. It doesn’t matter though, Rachel didn’t really want to talk to Sarah anyway, they were just using the phone call to triangulate her location so Ira could follow her as a backup plan.
On the Island, Cosima is smoking and reading up on Neolution which is getting its own screenshot because it’s my entire aesthetic.
Charlotte comes in like the not-fully-socialized child she is, calling Cosima sick and asking about her hair.
But Cosima is naturally good with children, so she just beckons Charlotte closer and they play with each other’s hairs. Cosima mentions the author if the NeoBible again, PT WESTMORELAND, so I have a feeling it’s more important than even it seems. Charlotte shows Cosima her favorite part of the book, the map of the island, with diagrams of its indigenous leaves and an X to mark a spot not too far from where they are.
Back in the real world, Adele is trying to figure out what the hell is going on. Felix almost calms her down and gets her off the case when Helena comes in, in all her coonskin glory. Adele was willing to give Felix the benefit of the doubt with the whole twin thing, but triplets with three different accents? She’s not THAT drunk. Helena is going to leave, but Adele has too many questions to let that happen.
Rachel has another vision, definitely seeing through someone else’s eye at this point. She sees the same man from before, but also children, and weird symbols on doors, and swans. Swans about to be killed. It’s all very dark and confusing.
