“Taurus”: Megan Fox and Ruby Rose Cast in Dark Drama

Lady-lovers Megan Fox and Ruby Rose will star in Taurus, a dark drama set to be released in February, 2022. The film follows a troubled musician, played by Colson Baker, aka Machine Gun Kelly, who’s gaining notoriety in the music industry.

Not only are sapphics Megan Fox and Ruby Rose performing alongside each other in Taurus, they’re also playing the “evil” characters: the ones who represent the temptations of drugs and sex. Yep — from the sounds of it — Ruby, who plays the troubled musician’s drug dealer, and Megan, who plays his ex, “push him deeper into the void.”

“The film follows Baker’s character as he spends all of his time searching endlessly for the inspiration to record one last song,” according to Collider

“His sister-like assistant (Hasson) wants to save him, his collaborators (McNairy, Lil Meech, and Lil TJay) want him in the studio, all while his dealer (Rose) and his ex (Fox) push him deeper into the void. The film is said to take its inspiration from the life and careers of contemporary artists such as Mac Miller, Lil Peep, Pop Smoke, and Juice Wrld, who all died tragically young.”

Isn’t the Femme Fatale Trope – the sexy, alluring woman with “bad intentions,” who gets blamed for the man losing focus, causing his ultimate demise – a little overdone? Men still can’t get enough of it, even in 2022. Writer and director Tim Sutton simply doubled-down by creating two.

To make matters worse, the synopsis reads like there’s no hope for the poor, helpless musician who seems to have nobody to blame but the women in his life. The film “follows [the musician’s] last days,” as he desperately searches for inspiration to write a song that leaves a lasting impression.

Megan Fox might be bisexual, but she has some homophobic views about human sexuality. In 2009, Marie Claire reported Megan saying, “I think people are born bisexual and they make subconscious choices based on the pressures of society.”

Like many straight people — who can’t understand homosexuality because they personally lack any attraction to the same sex — Megan joins the growing list of bisexual people who claim we all must be “fluid,” because that’s how their sexual orientation works.

Anybody, whether it be someone on the left, or the far-right religious type, who perceives sexual orientation as a “choice,” or “set of (subconscious) choices,” must — at their heart — be attracted to both sexes. Any homosexual or heterosexual knows it’s not a choice.

Megan Fox didn’t stop there. She threw fellow bisexuals under the bus, too.

“I have no question in my mind about being bisexual,” she said. “But I’m also a hypocrite. I would never date a girl who was bisexual, because that means they also sleep with men, and men are so dirty that I’d never want to sleep with a girl who had slept with a man.”

Looks like Taurus isn’t the only platform toying with exhausted tropes. Megan, who’s currently dating a man — the film’s lead Machine Gun Kelly — doesn’t have the same expectation for herself. As much as she views “everyone as bisexual,” she wants to only date lesbians (if/when she dates women) because she wants the Virginal Lesbian Experience.

Ruby Rose is famous for being a lesbian heart-throb and Megan Fox has been voted the world’s sexiest woman before. Will Taurus not only repeat the old Femme Fatale (x2), but also the “evil lesbians who [further] hurt men by excluding them,” making Megan and Ruby a couple? Time will tell!
