Stop the lesbian presses! Kristen Stewart is engaged! Kristen made the announcement this Tuesday that she and screenwriter Dylan Meyer are going to tie the knot.
Stewart declared, this week, on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, “We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it.”
The couple started dating in 2019, after meeting six years earlier, and Stewart was ready to wed then and there. “When you know, you know. You know what I mean?” a giddy Stewart confided at the time.
Two years later, here we are. Back on the Howard Stern show on October 2, 2021, Stewart lit up the lesbian world. Although in 2019 Stewart said (in archetypical Aries fashion) that she “couldn’t wait” to be the one to pop the question, as it turns out it was Meyer who proposed. Stewart says, “I kind of asked her. I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out my, what I wanted. And you know, she nailed it. It was really cute. She did very well. And we’re marrying. It’s happening.”
“The day that I met her, all bets were off. I was like, ‘Where have I been and how have I not known you?’ ” Stewart told Howard Stern on his radio show in 2019.
Stewarts says she wants to keep the big day, “pretty chill,” and wants to wear “the best pair of Levi’s ever” and “an old T-shirt that has a tuxedo printed on it,” to make her bride-to-be laugh.
“I don’t want anyone walking anyone down any aisles. We’re just going to like stand and do vows and f–king party after. It’s kind of just a great excuse to get together and say ‘I love you’ in front of all your friends” Stewart told Howard Stern.
